Ms Jenny Da Rin is a senior career officer in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was most recently Assistant Secretary, Southeast Asia Development Policy and Program Branch, in the Office of Southeast Asia.
She has previously served overseas as High Commissioner to Vanuatu and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps as well as in Ethiopia and Indonesia. As a crisis response team leader she led two evacuations from Sudan in 2023.
Ms Da Rin holds a Master of Government and Commercial Law from the Australian National University, a Graduate Diploma from Charles Sturt University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canberra.
