HMAS Newcastle at the Port of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

The Australian warship HMAS Newcastle docked at the Port of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This is the first time an Australian ship has visited Tanzania in 28 years.

Australian Defence Attache to Africa, Colonel James Davey welcomes the Tanzanian Chief of Navy Rear Admiral (Maj Gen) SS Omar on board the ship. The Chief of Navy was also celebrating 44 years of service in the armed forces.
